Open concept
“Third places” — the cafés, libraries, squares, and bars where life happens outside home and work — are quietly disappearing, or turning into places you can only be if you’re spending money. Open is a concept for designing contemporary third places: spaces built for lingering, meeting, and being around others without a transaction attached.
Still just a thesis. What does a third place look like now — physical, hybrid, membership, public? Carried over from an old portfolio; worth developing.
